The Big Day
Saturday 7th 12pm-late
Getting to Elandskloof
Elandskloof is a beautiful, remote farm near Greyton, which is just under 2 hours from Cape Town’s CBD. We recommend allowing plenty of time for the journey as it’s a stunning drive with lovely farm stalls and cafés along the way where you can grab a bite to eat and enjoy the views.
Worth a stop: Houw Hoek Farm Stall, Peregrine Farm Stall, Dassiesfontain (Via the N2)
If you’re hiring a car, parking will be available outside your accommodation on the farm. Whilst a 4x4 is not necessary, we do advise avoiding the smallest cars with a very low wheel base, as the farm terrain can be quite rugged.
For those not hiring a car, we plan to offer a shuttle bus from Cape Town to Elandskloof and back depending on interest. Please let us know in your RSVP if this would suit you!

12-1pm arrival
Please aim to arrive between 12pm and 1pm so that you have time to get settled and ready for your shuttle before the ceremony begins.
Accommodation: All rooms have been pre allocated which will be pointed out to you on your arrival.
Getting ready: Take in your surroundings, say hi to your neighbours, and enjoy a chilled beer. The cottages will have some drinks and snacks, but it may be worth bringing along your own supplies if you think you’ll need something before the reception as the nearest shop is around 30 minutes away.
Dress code: Summer suits and dresses. There are plenty of grassy areas around the venue, so leave your stillettos at home.
3:30pm shuttles to ceremony
Don’t be late! The farm is vast and you don’t want to be trekking from the cottage to the ceremony in your glad rags so we will provide shuttles - don’t miss yours - please ensure that you are at your various spaces ready to go before 3:30pm.

Night: Feel free to head back to your spaces to freshen up before dinner at 7:30pm - we will be returning to the forest for another night of boogieing under the stars.
